An apprenticeship can be referred to as system of training a new generation of practitioners of a trade or profession with on-the-job training. It can often involve some classroom and or work-based training. While working for an employer, the apprentices learn their trade or profession and gain skills and experience, in exchange for their labour during an agreed period usually twelve months in UK depending on agreement.

Apprenticeship is a job that goes with training up to industry standards for it to be a recognised occupation. It also involves a programme of "on-the-job" and "off-the-job" training. The occupational competence of the apprentice has to be tested during the period of the apprenticeship programme or by an end-point assessment which is carried out by a recognised independent body. Apprenticeship employers are responsible for setting the standards to meet their skills needs. In some cases, they fund the apprenticeship programme and they are responsible for the employment as well as the trainingof the apprentices. However, it is important that the apprentices achieve the competence in the relevant tranferable skills of the occupation or industry. This includes long term secured earning jobs and progression in the workplace.

The UK Government is investing a lot of money in its Apprenticeship Programme. We have been working with National Training Providers in the UK as trainers, assessors and IQA (Internal Quality Assurers) in the relevant qualification areas. We are trained, qualified, certified and accredited professionals. The qualification areas include NVQ/ BTEC/ NCFE/ ILM Diplomas in:
